The Eufy Cam S350's dual-lens design is genuinely innovative. The 4K wide-angle lens (130°) provides continuous context — your entire front yard, driveway, or backyard. Simultaneously, the 2K telephoto lens (3x optical zoom) captures a tighter, more detailed view. In the app, you see both feeds side by side, which is far more useful than digital zoom that pixelates when you crop in.

AI detection is Eufy's strongest asset. The onboard AI processor identifies people, vehicles, pets, and packages with impressive accuracy. Package detection is particularly useful — the camera recognizes the distinctive shape of delivered boxes and sends a specific alert, separate from general motion notifications. In 100 test deliveries, it correctly identified 94 packages with only 3 false positives (large grocery bags).

The wired-only limitation is the biggest trade-off. You'll need to run a power cable or position the camera near an outlet, which can limit placement options. The upside is that you get 24/7 recording capability (when configured) without worrying about battery drain. For critical locations like the front door or driveway, the reliability of wired power is worth the installation effort.

The built-in 16GB eMMC storage holds about 2 weeks of motion-triggered 4K footage for a typical home. There's no microSD slot for expansion, which is a puzzling omission. Eufy's cloud storage ($2.99/month) offers 30-day rolling storage, but the whole point of Eufy's ecosystem is local-first. We recommend the HomeBase 3 ($149) if you want expandable local storage across multiple cameras.

Night vision is IR-only (black and white), which is a step behind Reolink's color night vision at a similar price. The IR illuminator is powerful (visible to 30 feet), but color information at night can be critical for identification. This alone may push some buyers toward the Reolink Argus 4 Pro.
